The first thing I fitted to the chassis was a VP Commodore reconditioned power steering rack and pinion.

A couple of modification had to be done to this rack before fitting eg: VZ Commodore tie rods fitted and shortened 20mm and VZ tie rod ends so it would fit the VZ upright radius arms. Also the pinion shaft of the rack, the flat sides had to be filed down slightly so the universal would slide on neatly.
