Door skin panels and cord for opening the doors installed.

 Left hand door panel made from 1.5mm thick aluminium sheet, cut to size and fitted using the traditional clips to secure the panel to the door. These panels will be covered in black leather down the track, which will be shown in a later post.

Right hand door panel also fitted in place. 

                                 
The door opening cord is secured in the door with a 6mm rivnut, I then drilled a hole through a 6mm bolt for the cable and plastic tube to fit through and the cable secured on the inside of the bolt. The cable is covered with clear plastic vacuum tube for a better look and easier to use when opening the door.

                The cable all connected up to the door catch mechanism and rivnut on the other side.
