After obtaining a permit off VicRoads to drive my Cobra to the roadworthy centre in town where my engineer inspects the vehicles he works on. I drove my Cobra for the first time on bitumen roads, which was a real thrill.
Cobra waiting to be inspected by the engineer.
Cobra getting a good looking over by my engineer.
After the Cobra had been checked over, the engineer and I went for a test drive with the engineer putting the Cobra through its paces. Things like braking test, stability when accelerating and handling around corners etc. This all went well with a decibel test of the exhaust loudness when we stopped back at the workshop, which also was satisfactory to ADR requirements.
